That's true with Complexity Systems.
The Future of Storytelling is another interesting theme that has motivated me.
Perspectives on Disability is finishing and it has been a great opportunity to dig deeper in my professional field. All professors and teams that support these MOOCs have kept the standards high and deserve all our respect and gratefulness for such opportunities. Long live MOOCs!Ida Brandãohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04218350418033787259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11679714.post-15828427841646094182013-11-13T02:17:59.121-05:002013-11-13T02:17:59.121-05:00I am an Instructional designer and am perceiving ...I am an Instructional designer and am perceiving MOOCs as a tool to bring in transformation in Indian education due to the inherent features of MOOCs.Dr. Ritu Uppalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02755638730138158190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11679714.post-88260245448903146502013-11-10T14:15:35.198-05:002013-11-10T14:15:35.198-05:00I've been wrestling with the problem of creden...I've been wrestling with the problem of credentials for nontraditional online learning (MOOCs, etc) for some time now, and I never really thought about the person's "digital traces" functioning as a credential for employment.

It really comes down to credentials. If that problem can be solved, the whole university monopoly on "learning" will be broken. I have written about how college degrees are waning as a credential for learning and perhaps for employment (http://carlroberts.us/?p=55), and it's clear that a major shift is underway.

To me, as I said above, if the credential problem can be solved, MOOCs will have turned the corner.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02469192088100290341noreply@blogger.com
