Karyn's decision to drop out with a D is a neat comment on progress in that area.ClarionWavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05267402161261522489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11679714.post-84271332046246291262008-01-04T20:43:00.000-05:002008-01-04T20:43:00.000-05:00Stephen,I greatly enjoyed your post...even though ...Stephen,

I greatly enjoyed your post...even though what follows may not look like I did.

I was reading Karl Kapps post and some of your comments for other people to reply to your self-assigned A-. Using your own critique of your 2007 prediction, I'm not sure an A- is warranted. For example, the video prediction seems to be a "more of the same" prediction that you criticized others for. Also, since personal learning environments did not happen and paid software and content are still going strong, I think the A- is a bit generous.

Regardless, what I appreciated most about your post was the excellent summary of 2007. Whether or not this was a secondary goal you had in mind, you gave a very nice recap of the developments in the field that I was not aware of. For that, I would give an A+ because it is much more valuable to me than whether or not someone's predictions actually happened.Benjamin Hamiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16637850219807592885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11679714.post-63653522075160501152008-01-03T07:16:00.000-05:002008-01-03T07:16:00.000-05:00Okay, that's it! I don't know enough to score more than a D at best!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11679714.post-42118293789097967812008-01-02T15:06:00.000-05:002008-01-02T15:06:00.000-05:00Thank you for sharing this, Stephen. However, in researching it further, I learned more about them and was also surprised to see that about only about half of them have a blog.

An even more interesting note in passing: those that have a blog seem to have fared better than those that don't.

Now THAT would make a great blog post - and I can think of nobody more qualified to write it than you!Darren Draperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17578208859042859340noreply@blogger.com
